As a frame of reference, the one I have is 659XXX which is fairly accurately dated to 1936. I would guess yours is late '20s to early '30s. A 15-8 would have a three-alpha, four numeric format serial number. Betting yours starts with either just a "K" or a single to a triple digit in front of a "K" followed by numbers. There's a 5 digit number just below the "Model 36" that you can see in the pic. There's a different number that start with 3 letters on the bottom of the grip between the "stocks".
